Today, let's keep it simple -- and cheap. For a limited time, and while supplies last, Ombar (via Amazon) has the Poweradd 5-port desktop USB charging station for $5.99 with promo code CPM7Y9H3. Regular price: $12.99. Update: Already out of stock. Drat! I'll plumb the depths in search of something similar, so stay tuned!Note that although shipping is free, it's not Prime shipping, and therefore may take longer than two days. This is the kind of thing everyone needs. One for your desk, one for your kitchen counter -- one anywhere you routinely plug in your various devices (phone, tablet, wire-free earbuds).I don't know how much inventory this seller has available, nor how long the code will stay active. If you see a different seller listed and/or the code doesn't work, well -- the deal is probably done. Here's hoping you can snag one, because similar USB stations sell for as much as $20. The Poweradd's five ports can each output up to 2.4 amps -- enough juice for tablets and modern phones -- and will intelligently determine what's plugged in and charge accordingly.

You also get a 24-month warranty. Beyond that, it's hard to say because this is a relatively new listing with only one user review.I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say these action-RPGs deliver some of the best immersive storytelling of any games ever. The first two in particular are sweet, sad tales of rescue and redemption. If you've never played them, I simply cannot recommend them highly enough -- especially at this price.Bonus deal No. 2: If there's an Instant Pot (or similar pressure-cooker) in your present or future, why not grab a cookbook to go with it? Especially when it's free? For a limited time, the Instant Pot Cookbook: The Ultimate Guide Plus 101 Delicious Recipes is free for Kindle.

Starting today, that's about to get a lot easier.ChargePoint and Flo have announced a partnership that will allow account holders from each network to operate on the other's network without signing up for a new account. ChargePoint calls it a "roaming partnership," like how your phone is allowed to use different networks in different locations.

The roaming partnership is fully operational as of today. ChargePoint and Flo users will be able to use each other's networks using the same login they normally use, whether in the US or Canada. Neither ChargePoint nor Flo will charge additional fees for "roaming" use, and the taxes are handled on the backend, so it's business as usual for EV owners -- just charge up and head out."We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Flo and invite other networks to participate in similar initiatives that support our philosophy of helping to get every driver behind the wheel of an EV," said Pasquale Romano, CEO of ChargePoint, in a statement. "These experiences are good for EV drivers and simultaneously benefit station owners by increasing utilization of charging spots and opening up opportunities for businesses of all kinds to participate in the new fueling network."

Both providers use something called the Open Charge Point Interface protocol. This protocol allows charging providers to exchange information required for cross-network roaming like this. Hopefully, other providers that support the protocol will jump into the fray and make it even easier to juice up on vacation or work trips. The Porsche Taycan is still roughly a year away from hitting showrooms, but Porsche has further tipped its hand toward what its electric vehicle future is going to look like. The Taycan production car, which was previewed by a pair of Mission E concepts, is expected to bring more than 600 horsepower, a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and boast a driving range of about 300 miles to the party. That all sounds good, but another thing that Porsche is aiming to do real quickly is charge the Taycan and its other future battery electric vehicles.

When the Taycan launches with its "around" 90 kilowatt-hour battery pack, Porsche is aiming for a 350-kilowatt charger to replenish a battery to 300 kilometer (186 miles) of range in about 9 minutes. In comparison, a Tesla on a 120-kilowatt Supercharger takes about 30 minutes to do the same thing. Porsche says 350-kilowatt quick charging stations will be available at Porsche dealers and at 300 of the 484 Electrify America stations that are slated to be operational by next June in the United States. To further bolster the charge infrastructure, Porsche has developed a scalable charging system. The setup combines a transformer station with modular cooling and power boxes capable of powering two charging stations with up to 350 kilowatts each. As demand for charge points increases, additional power boxes can be added as needed.

For organizations that are looking for a more affordable fast charge option or that are in areas where the power grid doesn't offer a sufficient power supply, Porsche has also developed a Charge Box that draws from a 400-volt service and battery acting as a buffer. Together it can supply 320 kilowatts that can go to one or two Porsche charging stations.
For home, a 22-kilowatt Porsche Energy Manager will power up the Taycan overnight. For customers not wanting to fiddle with plugs and cables, an inductive charging system is also being developed that will offer up to an 11-kilowatt charging capability and a Wi-Fi positioning assistant system to maneuver the car into the best charge position.

If you need a low-cost laptop, the Inspiron 15 3000 is a good place to start. The internals aren't particularly beefy, but the 15.6-inch HD display, full-size keyboard, and built-in HDMI port make this a solid purchase for everyday tasks like browsing the web, creating spreadsheets, and delivering PowerPoint presentations.Asus FX502VM Intel Core i5 Quad-Core 1080p Gaming Laptop with a GTX 1060m 3GB video card, 16GB of RAM, and USB Type-C for $999 (List price: $1,249.99)

Gaming laptops are notoriously expensive, so Cyber Monday discounts are a much needed reprieve for our wallets. With a sixth-gen Core i5 processor, an abundance of memory, and a solid graphics card, this laptop is a great way to play wherever you go.

Asus C202 Chromebook Intel Celeron Dual-Core 11.6-inch Laptop for $119.99 (List price: $199.99)

If your budget is extremely tight, this tiny Chromebook from Asus is worth considering. It's lightweight and long-lasting, but you're compromising on storage, memory, and raw horsepower. It's not for everyone, but this rock-bottom sale price is pretty compelling for bargain hunters. The seventh generation of Intel's Core CPUs has only been available for a short while, but laptops with these new chips are already being discounted. This 15.6-inch Acer has a nice dual-core i3 processor, a full HD display, and a six-cell battery that can last up to 12 hours – an incredible value for $329.99.
